Finally got out..Rain has stopped. Went to a field that I just got permission and found a few odds and ins..too every relic found there was about 10 holes dug lol. A shield nickel..I think a few cosmopolitan bullets and not sure about the 1 left of 3 ringer..just wanted to share

It's very wet down here too, but even if it was dry I wouldn't have a C W site to hunt. No action here. But, I am not complaining because I have a few older sites to hunt. Good providence on your next hunt.

thanks..I walked all over that field and found 4 of the 5 bullets about 20ft from my truck..

Great finds. I dont see a lot of plow scars on them. That's always good. Is bullet 2 a picket bullet with no rings. I have one of an odd caliber. Is yours a 58 cal.

Nice mix there. Did the shield nickel have a date on it? Those two bullets do look like Cosmos.

couldnt get a date on the nickle...I know it was in bad shape but didnt want to damage it anymore than what it already was
