I found this along with a 1923 dime and a few wheat cents. Any Ideas?

Nice find. Known as the Crusade Commandery No. 6 Knights Templars of Fairmont W. Va. Pretty large early in the 20th cent.

Question- How would one go about removing the green off this piece? I ask because I have something similar that needs cleaned.

BTW- Welcome to Tnet Mchad34.

Thanks for all the help. The back is all covered with that green corrosion, so I can't read if anything is there. Best I can tell it is blank.

I found this in Utah if that helps any. I also found WW1 buttons. The oldest thing with a date on it that I found is a 1903 barber dime.
