took a drive up to Lakeview Ohio to meet Weston for the 1st time and do some hunting, I wanted to show him how I knock doors and get permission, first 4 farms we stopped at no one was home, so on to #5, we got permission there, and we hunted for a good hour with not even clad, so we moved on, we found a one room school house, got permission from the farm next to it, they were the owner. And I also got permission to look in her yard.

I got one indian,..... a real bent, crusty indian at the school. I think it is 1890. And we did not get much else there, so off to her yard,... Weston got a 1906 indian there, I got a couple wheats. But pretty much a real quiet yard. So off to another farm....knock, knock...........got another yes and off we went, got some more wheats for both of us, and on the way back to the car I got a quarter signal 1 inch down. I assumed it was a clad quarter, but it was a 1937 silver quarter pushed almost to the surface from a large tree root. Guess it paid to stop and check it out
