This point is not real uncommon and travels a pretty wide time zone. The flaking is pretty neat as they would strike off one side and then the opposite side. Made like a z pattern down it. I know that style is called something?? :icon_scratch: Anyways river worn from North Alabama right below Tennessee . Not a perfect point by any means but pretty.
First year ever we have been flooded all winter and the water has not dropped to winter pool. Its normally a couple of feet lower in the winter They are trying to lower the Tennessee Valley water shed now. If it ever gets down its going to be something else after all that raging water.
Happy Hunting :hello:

Thank guys. I have seen them almost spiral shaped where the stone was kinda twisted.
C'mon spring : )

Sweet stemmed piece Tn., that's a nice big example. All the creeks/rivers are full here too, probably will be for a couple months, really sucks when your trying to get your creek hunt on.

I know thirty7. Its crazy. Hunting season is over here as well. I need to get a house on market and then I am heading to some shelters to dig I guess. :dontknow:
Take care

Very nice point TnM...... :icon_thumright:

I fear it is going to be a bad spring for the eastern watershed, especially the states bordering the Missouri and Mississippi rivers with all the snow that has fallen it will be a big melt and run off this year.....

very nice Tn
Ive not been out looken for several weeks.
too much on the fire at this time. hoping to clear up some ends and get some time by spring.
I may get to go down towards Loudon area this weekend for at least a day.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Be careful out there right now. We lost some hunters in a boat the other day crossing the river. Its cold outside.
