HI All,

I am trying to remember the name of the book (in several volumes) listing Spanish voyages to the New World over several centuries. I think it was written by two brothers whose name begins with an S. Have consulted it several times in the past, but cannot for the life of me remember its name or find it on the Internet. Would appreciate any help in finding it.

My guess, too, Don. Did you get my PM?

Great to see you posting, mariner. All the best to you.

Thanks

Don,

Spot on (as usual, from what I remember) ! Do you know I there is a similar resource for Spanish voyages in the mid 18th century?

And to you, Darren. Had a small health problem that kept me occupied most of the last year, but am now getting back into the swing of things. I hope Trinidad is proving to be everything you hoped !

A "small" health problem? Most of the year? You're modest, as usual. Thanks for the well-wishes. Trinidad is great with helping at-risk kids. Not so great on the treasure side of things. 8-)

Don - check your next PM, ha.

Mariner,
Another source you may be referring to is: Fernandez Cesareo de Duro.
Two books: La armada espanola, Nine vols.
Disquisiciones nauticas Six vols.
One more comes to mind: Clarence H. Haring's "Trade and navigation between Spain and the Indies in the time of the Hapsburgs"
Don......
