Lipstic tube?

Is this a lipstick tube? I think the cap says "SUN GOLD".
It has a gold gilt to hit also.

Got lots of these dating from 20s to 50s.
Pulled a pair of 'Erace' from one hole.
often the color is still inside,
Careful not to confuse with small kaliedescopes!
