Hello everyone,
Well I got to swing my coil on my GTI 1500 few about and hour this morning. I went to the local tot lot so I can learn what my MD is telling me. I wound up getting 60 cents in clad with the oldest coin being a 1960 penny. When I got home I thought I might hit the back yard for a few minutes and I got a really strong hit at 6 inches deep and was coming up as a penny. I cut my plug and standing on end was the small brass or copper tube. It is 1 3/4 inches long and 5/8 wide. It has a very nice picture of a guy on the side of the tube with Don Juan under it. On the end cap it says Military Red.
After looking this up I was able to find out that it was lip stick and a new color that was coming out in 1941. What I need help with is finding out if the item came out in 1941 was in a copper or brass tube to know for sure if this is a tube from 1941. Any help would be great. Pictures below
