I just thought I would post a link for all those that don't know the difference between the following types of geophysical detection techniques:
Resistivity, Magnetics, Microgravity, Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetics, Seismic Refraction.
Technos Inc. has a good overview with pictures and applications that explains these common terms, that should help you decide on the best approach for your next treasure hunt, or mining venture here:

I know this isn't an all inclusive list, but I'm hoping this information will help those who don't already know about these methods. If I run across other information I think might be of use, I'll add it here.
