As you know, Abraham Lincoln was 56 when he was assassinated. I've read stories in recent years that he suffered some sort of malady that would have shortened his life considerably, even without Booth's fatal bullet. What it was, I don't recall, but that's not important here. What is pertinent are the dates of today's only finds at the silver farm: 1910 and 1966 pennies. I know you can't see the date on the 10, but I'm posting it because old wheats seldom come out of our ground this clean. It's worn, but it's a nice coin. And you have probably already done the math; they're 56 years apart! I'm actually thinking of changing my TNet name to Cliff Klavin ;D.

Congrat's on the clean Wheaty...Glad you got out to enjoy yourself...One day closer to September 30th...

Keep havin' fun,

Nick

PS...I don't recall Cliff sipping the Mint Ginger Ale... ;D
They didn't serve it at Cheers.

If I am not mistaken it was Marfan's Syndrome that Abe suffered with.

I love to find wheat pennies.

That was interesting. 56? If you add my
dog's age and my age you would get 50,
and if you then add my wifes age, in dog
years of course, you would get 56.....
HOW WEIRD is that???
I have way too much time on my hands to
have had time to figure that out. But, my
batteries are dead in my flashlight, my
daughter took my money, so I can't go
MDing tonight.
LMAO

Yeah you can't complain when you find a 97 year old coin in the ground, great recovery!
Come to think of it, it's better than any coin I've found with a certain MDer I've hunted with!

haha...i suppose so. But if you'd compare our year's totals you blow me out of the water! I think I'm at like....6 silver coins recovered this year! I bet you have 100x that.

Maybe not 100x, more like 100+ ;D. And I was there for at least half your silver!
