Went to some thrift stores while my brother was in an appointment. After finally finding one that WASNT in Quarantine, I went in, and found this for 12 dollars.

Needless to say, I got it.

What's something like that worth? I have no clue about error coins.

I guess it's worth $12........Lol did the detector give you a strong signal ...lol what number came up...19-20

Well, either way, it’s still interesting.

That one was worth $12! I would have bought it, too! The value on error coins is hard to place because there are so many variables. Peoples desires is the biggest variable. Thanks for posting jnicholes and letting us take a look at it!

No problem. Thanks for letting me know it’s worth what I bought it for!

I do think it's way cool would definitely buy it myself

Cool find!
I would have paid $12 for it.

Great deal for $12.
It's a plus that it appears to be a copper planchet (wish they would put the weight on the slab). No dates aren't as exciting but ANACs charged the original owner for the grade, error designation, & shipping both ways. $10 (during sales) + $5 + $16 + $5 (value unslabbed)= $36.00

eBay sold a 1991p recently. MS63 for only $26.70 and a raw, no date copper 79% off center for $23.93

Nice grab. I would have paid $12.00 for that coin. The fact that its "slabbed" makes it worth that.

I'm sure it cost more than $12 to get ANACS to certify the coin. It's a good find for sure. congrats
