two and a half years ago my son and I found 1/2 half of a leech and rigdon c.s. spur. Since then a lot of very good dectorists have looked for the other half. (the S half). We had been back to the sight probably 8-10 times with no luck. Went back today because some other sites were a no-go due to weather. 3 holes later I found it, about 3" deep in a very open spot that had to have been gone over numerous times. I will post pictures as soon as I can. I am still not sure if I want to have the spur put back together. The two separate halves are a pretty good story. Any thoughts on restoration?

Welcome aboard and very nice find. I am no expert on your question so I better let someone else answer that. Congrats on the C.S. relic, WOW!

Persistence pays off as they say. Good job. I'm looking forward to the pictures.

hey Mona, that was 4 words ;D I agree though, pics please.

Was with kydigger when he found the S half of the CSA spur and thought he would never come down. We wonder now if the other spur is around the same site? If it is we will find it. Twobits

How neet. I hope you find the other one.
