Lid from a stove.

Nothing spectactular. I'm more curious if anyone has info on the maker of this. I had found it late last winter, and it was so encrusted with rust that it took 3 days of electrolysis to get it clean. It is 7 1/2" dia.

I really like it . It the handle /lip part broken off....because it looks like a trivet for the top of the stove........or a flue part....

gypsyheart. I had my daughter crop the picture and she chopped the bottom off. Here is the whole picture. I'm thinking myself that it may not be a lid, but some other decoration on a stove. There are little tabs on the back side, but I think they were from the casting of the item. They do not extend beyond the edge.

See on the back of the stove....those two lids....they flip up when not in use.....flip down to rest pan on to keep warm while other food cooking....I think thats what you have there.....
