Hello Forum,

I was going through my coin collection, and I came across these four standing liberty quarters. One of them is a 1927, and the others are just to worn away. What do you think the value is, and should I keep them or try to sell them. Thanks for looking!

If the 1927 is a D or S, it has some slight value over the silver value, otherwise, none are worth more than that.

We consider them valuable because they are hard to find... a common dated one can be had for $5.00 though...

Bury one at the park for someone else to find. Karma might pay you back with something killer.

If there are no stars under the reverse eagle, the coin has added value notwithstanding the inability to read the date.
Even having a D or S mint mark on such a coin can add value.
Always check for stars (or no stars) on the reverse of these coins.
Don......

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the help.

Ok, they all have stars under the eagle. One of them is s "D", and one is an "S".

Unless the D or S is on the 1927, those are just 90% silver.....no added value.

I think in my OLD personal collection, I probably have more dateless vs those with readables. I saw someone's post years ago, that they made great jewelry pieces ( cuff links, tie tacks, ear rings ), just have to find the jeweler. Love this SLQ'S design, similar to great design of the Merc.
