Liberty Head Barber & V Coins 1899-1912 + Steatite Scarab 1279-1190 BC.?
Ok first......I did not find these with my Tesoro! But I did find a sneaky spot online. I scored these coins ranging from 1899 to 1912. I think the most interesting find was the Scarab + one other ** im not sure yet on. I have not been able to verify the Items, but they all came together in a box labeled J. E Caldwell and Company, Philadelphia. From looking closely at the Egyptian artwork. My best guess is The New Kingdom, Rameside period, 1279-1190BC. Steatite scarab depicting some sort of Pharaoh kneeling before an obelisk, and hands raised in adoration. Their really cool. Any body who knows more on these and to their authenticity and meanings would be great. I went to www.ancientresource.com for more info. This has been my best overall fix while I wait for the Mine-lab E-Trac to come in the mail. Stay tuned. See photos. Marvin.
