LI TOM & I Break The Curse...........
that has lingered since day one that we started hitting the field.......no matter where we went, only one would hit silver, either or, but it always worked out that way. This past Saturday was an exception. We hit the small park again and Tom's M6 was quick on the draw, pulling out a mercury dime in just a few short minutes. I was doomed I thought A short while later, Tom pulls out a nice Rosie.
I was getting alot of promising signals, but all were turning out to be wheats. Finally, a nice and shallow plug turns up a silver Rosie for me, and at that point, the curse was no longer. We both had silver for the 1st time in at least six hunts. I also ended up finding the small medal pictured.......it's not Mike material, but I will settle That is how it went down this past Saturday.
Monday I decided to check out a park for possible locations, although my real intention was to dig out some clad. I wasn't thinking of going to the far out park I really had in mind after a night of heavier than light drinking. As usual, I look around for the darkest of dirt, and I settled at an area behind a bench.
A few wheats surfaced, and to my suprise, a rosie. I took it in as a bonus and kept on digging. A few minutes go by and I get a quarter signal jumping into the 1/2 dollar notch......that ends up being a silver quarter. I thought "Hotspot". At that point I gave Tom a call just incase he was in the area and left him a message. Again, minutes go by and another silver rosie. I decided to move around the park and investigate what else was going on. I chose to leave this place alone until I could get my Explorer and Tom in there, and what can I say, the ACE 250 is still finding silver. Pictures enclosed.
