Letter "D" button or insert? Can you also help date Eagle cuff button?

Found a bunch of buttons yesterday and a 1819 Large Cent in a field in Swanzey, NH. All finds were 3-6 inches deep in sanded soil. Currently a hay field with Alfalfa plants.

Can tell me if the D disc has any military significance? The back shows a lip. So it may have had a back on it.

The eagle button is a two piece type, the back wasn't found. Also found a musket ball in the same field.

Thanks for looking.

Re: Button or insert? Can you also held date Eagle button? Thank you!

Eagle button is on the left in the first picture. In 2nd & 3rd , it is under the D disc. In your link, it is similar to the first eagle you show. Head is the same, wings are narrower and come more to a point. Other than the eagle and faint lines in the background, the button is pain.

Thanks for checking.
