Brian - that's a cool badge. I really haven't dug anything real exciting in

badges. This is a 1928 (I think) VA chauffeur's badge dug in New Kent county, VA.

Very first thing I dug at the soon to be infamous lake out here in Denver.
I saw much, much better stuff dug, trying to get a list of what all everyone found.

Found these in Pascagoula Mississippi. Shipbuilding War Badge, and Webster Detective agency dated about 1890.

This one was found in a street reconstruction project. All I know about it is that it is brass, 3" X 2", and has 4 solder spots on the back.

Nice City Marshall Badge. I have yet to find a lawman's badge.
 

My father N Law worked in the shipyard also during that time. I worked there for seven years before moving to Texas.
Ingall Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
