So I will start off with mine and it was found on 6-3-2013 and it is a 1909 Barber Half Dollar

Few of mine, barber dime was dug the other 3 were salvaged from the water.

Beginning of May in a front yard. . . after digging two can lids in a 10-foot area the third "lid" was a keeper LOL.

I remember an area of can lids that I avoided all the time and you pulled that Barber Half and a merc out of the ground. Remember the cellar hole site.... DIG THOSE LID SIGNALS cause Watercolor as proven them to be good targets to dig....
 

Wish I could add to this!!! Those are all great finds and I can't wait to see the rest. One of these days I'll be back in IL and hopefully dig something worthy! HH!!!!

My favorite coin found in 2013 would have to be this well worn 1837 capped bust dime. For sure my oldest silver Kane County find. Sorry pics are not very good. 719.JPG 720.JPG
