I had a black 1940 Buick Special that had that emblem on the vertical chrome strip that runs between the two sections of the grill.
So my guess is a Buick from the 1940's, possibly a Buick Special, color unknown. My car was a 2-door hardtop.

That would definitely put it in the other artifacts age I find. I will research this.
