I’ve been posting about going down to the river for a while now.
Well, today I’m gonna give you a grand tour of the place.
The Corp of Engineers put a dam system in the 1960’s. The city
decided to put a walk bridge over it and them dumb Arkies called
it the “Big Dam Bridge”. No joke!!
This place has some soccer fields for metal detectroist to hunt.
They got some tot lots for us Md’ers also.
This monument and bench had jewelry strewn all around it when
I first hunted here.
I called it the ‘ Love Monument “.
Here’s the sand volley ball courts for MD‘ers. I found a gold
wedding band here.
I hunted in this area today and didn’t find much.
Here’s the doggie park.
Here’s the golf coarse. Haven’t hunted there yet.
It’s a nice place to spend some time.
Heck, even the sewer looks nice down here sometimes.
Hope you enjoyed being Down On The River.
I know I sure did.
Happy Hunting,
Tabdog
