Sometimes when I go out detecting I need just a bit more light to see the ground as I am detecting. So I got a small LED flashlight for $5 at Advance Auto Parts and used some Velcro to attach it to the underside of my detector shaft just in front of the control box.
It perfectly Lights the coil area and because it is LED it uses less power and very light weight.
The Velcro allows me to attach it only when I need it.
