Lesche modifications for woods hunting

I extended the handle on my Lesche to 14" with a piece of 1" oak dowel for when I hunt the woods.

The added handle length and wider bicycle grip make it a lot easier to dig & cut through vegetation roots.
In order for the dowel to fit snuggly in the lesche's handle, I had to CAREFULLY shave a little less than 1/16"
off the bottom 4" of the dowel.

I had a chance last weekend to use it in the woods and it worked like a champ.
