Lesche Hand Tool

Are you talking about the standard lesche digger ? It works great, but looks nasty carrying around in a sheath at the park. The offset handle keeps it in its sheath and gives you some leverage to pry up plugs. No cons I can think of besides looking like a nasty knife.

Don't know, don't care, I love my Lesche!!!

Yes I was asking about the one you would wear on your belt like a hunting knife . Seems to me in hard ground more force could be applied to a digger with the handle centered over the blade . Thanks

I thought it was a ledge to put the side of your foot to help get it into hard ground.

You could be right Sleeper . There's got to be a reason it's made that way . Wish some more people would chime in on this . Thanks

I never gave my Lesche much thought till I forgot it once. I can't think of a single con.

The Lesche is WELL worth it's price, totally indestructable too. I have really abused mine and it's good as new. I can not think of one negative thing to say about the Lesche.

I just got one of these for Christmas and I will never be without one again unless maybe at a beach. Great, tough tool. What I noticed about the offset handle is that it makes it very easy to cut a shallow cut just under the grass so you can fold the grass back and then dig to China if you need to to find the goodies. THIS IS AN AWESOM TOOL!!!

I remember when you broke your Lesche :D :D! Just a cat-scratch, it should be fine with a slight weld....

Best digger ever made as far as i'm concerned sometimes in hard ground will put one hand on the handle and the other on the offset making it easier to dig.Lot more leverage to dig with.Just like travlers checks, don't leave home without it......rh
