hello everyone,I have just joined today and I'm from Cheshire England,I haven't done any detecting for years although I own a excalibur 1000, used to live in spain and work the beaches and sea...also done beaches in wales,my excalibur was boxed up for a good few years and I was planning on selling it but after having a full service done at minelab Ireland i'm eager to go detecting again so have been reading up and come across this site, perhaps pick up some useful tips as well as make a few new buddies !...:hello:

Welcome aboard! Take a look at Sub-Forums: England for information directly related to your country.

Welcome to Treasurenet. Don't give up. Keep detecting. I, too, almost gave up. Then I read an article about a metal detectorist who asked neighbors if he could detect in their front yard. Most said yes, and he found a ton of stuff. It really inspired me to get back out there after being discouraged Texas and Austin had so many anti-digging laws. THanks.
