LEE, I have something of yours...

Not sure who "LEE" is, and I have no clue what this is. Found it outside of an old school that dates to the early 50's.

It's pretty heavy for it's size, I don't think it's aluminum, and it's not magnetic.

Ideas?

That was the first thing I thought when I saw it looking at me while still in the ground.

This critter is heavy and not sure where it could have attached to a pair of britches.

i agree with bch looks like a piece of lead. you can give it the lick test and wait a few years for brain damage :laughing7: does it bend? mabye it's the lead foot gas peddle off of the general lee.... :tongue3:

WAY too late for the brain damage test... I metal detect, remember? :laughing9:

If it's lead it definitely has something else in with it, this thing is pretty tough and has a "ring" to it when given the drop test. I dropped it on the sidewalk from my pouch. ::)

is it brass? Could it be a paint tray from the school? (very wild guess because we dont have anything better)
