Sat. was a raining day here in calif. The only sales were inside. This came from a family run estate sale, Don't know what they are called but when the lady said $1.00, I jumped on it. Anyone point me in the right direction for info.

You know the first thing that came into my head was 'Oh that looks like one of those things that ladies clip onto a table to hang their bags on' But then I thought 'no that's much too big'. But I have to say it does look like a clip that fits underneath a table, but what would hang from it, I really don't know.
What is it made from metal? wood?

Yes i'm familar with the bag hangers. This is 16 1/2" by 10" and is made out of some metal. maybe tin. Its made to rock back and forth for quite a while with just one push.

It looks like a "balance figure" missing the base.
I could only find this small pic. for comparison so far. Google this- metal balance toys, you'll see many examples of other figures.

Thanks grundestoun I believe thats it. As to worthpoint, I have had several of my research sesions direct me to that site. Being cheap, I usually don't like to pay to use an internet site. So is anyone using worthpoint and does its content justify the cost. p

I have that exact item. It is missing the stand as someone else mentioned. If I recall it was a Target or Kirklands gift we received in the last 5 years, ie. $10-20 new w/stand.
