✅ SOLVED Leaning toward lipstick tube...

I have found many old lipstick tubes around old houses, but this is the first that would be copper. All others have been brass or modern styles... Also, this is smaller than any I’ve found before.

Thoughts on this one? Only the top found so far.

What makes you think it's not brass? All the older ones I find look to be made out of the same material.

When I clean it up, it shows to be copper, brass shows different.

Maybe it was plated and the plating wore off??? My guess would be lipstick tube as well.

After posting last night, I saw in my pictures that there was writing on the top. I cleaned it a bit more, but could only make out “oodbury”. I sent it to a friend that’s a lipstick tube nut and he informed that it’s a Woodbury brand lipstick tube and this style was 1930s through 1950s.
