Hey all. I found this toy soldier in a field last weekend. Turns out to be a LEAD "Doughboy" made by Lincoln Logs. How is that for a nice lead object a kid could fit it it's mouth? Yikes! :o Back in the day they didn't know about the effects of lead. Anyway, the rifle is broken but the paint is still pretty good. I found one that is similar on Ebay for $400.
Also I have a what is it. I found this brass clip-looking object in a field near a Fort. Creskol thinks it might be a sash clip but I can't find anything similar to it. Help! Thanks for looking and HH. :icon_thumleft:

Nice Doughboy! rare to find one with paint,
I got one wearing his gasmask.
The only soldier i've found with paint is a
WWII shotgunner with red lips :laughing7:
I put tags on a lot of my finds, who can remember all the details...
Love that lion Clip. Great Digs
