Lead with a star?

Found in NC. Site had an old house on it; has produced lots of modern stuff as well as a Williams cleaner bullet the same day this was found. Made of lead with possibly some iron or other metal. Consensus at the club was that this was either something... or nothing.

Is that a bolt on the first picture? My guess is that it's part of an anchor plate from the exterior wall of an old building. Stars were a popular design motif on anchor plates in the 18th and 19th centuries.

I would say, it looks to be a lead or pewter screw cap for a squeeze tube missing the threads? HH
