Lead toy horse?

Hey guys, this might be a tough one since there isn't much left. Found this little guy in a park that dates back to 1911, the property has bee active since mid 18th century. How old is this thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's actually solid lead. Looks like something sat in the saddle at one point. The quality is rather good, no cast lines can be seen. Some bits of red paint showing? Has a small star on each side of the saddle. My buddy Mike found this yesterday, kind of interested in IDing it myself.
