Hey all,

Well, I got a call the other day early in the AM around 8:30 from my new hunting partner asking if I wanted to hunt. I cheerfully agreed and we met up. Having no idea where to go we drove around and looked at a few places. We didn't find a good place for about 30min.

Then ProLab69 took me to his honey hole where he found a nice barber. My first signals were coins from the late 60's around 1967. Still far from the site. We get into the honey hole and I start searching, I start to dig and I dig a wheat. I shout to Prolab69 A WHEAT ! He follows with "You got one hu" I say yes. I keep looking and get a nice dime hit VDI 74-80+ I dig it up and it's I nicely toned Silver Rosie. (Sweet) I do the happy dance and shout to prolab again. SILVER !! He smiles and congratulates me. I keep going, find another wheat. I still keep hunting, then I get another solid Dime hit. I dig it out and see its clean so I know its silver right away. I shout MORE SILVER !! I see a wreath on the back so think its a barber I get weak in the knees and a little faint. Then turn it over and it's... Canadian Silver A !! From the 1920's or 40's the date is very worn and can hardly make out the 19 and it looks like a 24 so 1924 but its hard to tell. Could be a 1944 anyway. We hunt for a while longer with no finds and leave.

We go back to where we met up at the old baseball field. I think its hunted out but Prolab disagrees. So we search here for sometime. Find nothing but pulltabs for about 30 min then I dig a wheat way back in the woods. You guess it, I shout to prolab A WHEAT! We hunt for about 30 more min and start to head back to the car. On the way back I get a nice Nickel hit. I scan it and its at a good depth of 4 inches and not on the surface. So I am thinking a nice hit.... I dig it and its a dateless buffalo!! As usual I let prolab know of my find. He is shocked this time as was I !

Many, Many Thanks to Prolab69 for taking me to his hot spot to find some silver. Thanks man ;D

Here are some pictures hope you all enjoy !

Keep @ it and HH!!

MUD Congrats on your finds, the canadian dime is from the 20's i was hunting with a friend and she found one just like that. What year is the Buffalo? it looks like it is really good shape

The silver dime is a nice dig. I have two of them (non-dug) that look like that. Dates are 1931 and 1932. Congrats.

Nothing like those Honey Holes you can always count on to produce..........there could me more from where that Buff came from. Congrats on the silver.

LOL,
Well I dont think ur going anywhere else with prolab LOL! Great finds! I freakin love buffalos!!

Crackbadger

Great finds. I would rather find that Canadian dime than a barber. It's not as common as barbers.

Always fun to hunt with someone else so you can yell over to them when you find something good. ;D

Thanks all,

I am happy to find any silver at all. How uncommon is the Canadian or its value? I don't have a world book. >:( The Buffalo as I said Before is dateless. Some nic-a-date should do the trick. I think prolab and I will have many hunts in the future. Now I have to take him somewhere so he can find some good stuff too.

Here is a close up of the Canadian, hope you enjoyed.

Thanks again,
Please don't be shy I love hearing from everyone.
Keep @ it and HH!!
