Lead Tag??.......

Hey all...I found this at one of the farm's I hunt CW relic's yesterday picking up some corn and beet's.It's around 1 1/2" x 3" and is stamped with a number 3 and 4.Anyone know what this might have used for or have seen anything like it Looks like it might have been nailed to something with square nail's.Thank's for any info.....HH!!

Reminds me of lead flashing from a chimney. Also, I think they used to ship "bulk" lead with some type of indentifier stamped into it? Or did I just make that up haha.
