I looked closer at the Op object and it looked like it was once connected to something from the tops of the arms, and when you mentioned it looked more bronze, with the Asian looking garb on the figure....I recall seeing bowls like that before, and I just googled ancient Chinese footed bowls.... many appeared in the images and that one had figures holding up the bowl

Sometimes a combination of words and phrases in a google search and using the image gallery can produce a variety of possibilities that come close and sometimes they even give a bang on id especially with coins and buttons

I enjoy the challenge as many of us do in getting to the bottom of a mystery item

Good ID! And there I was googling things like "Asian figurine boy pretending to fly" haha, I was way off!
