lead patches

Alot of the lead from this site has very limited oxidation.

I still have an encrusted item from that site that I think might be a cock mechanism for a pistol.
Its so invaded in a hardened sandstone like conglomerate that I'm waiting until I'm sure I can conserve it correctly before I begin.

We used to find flint patches on the early Ga fort sites 1790s-1820 They looked like round balls cut in half and hammered flat. Yo's peers ta be stoe bawt. We also found wizzers made from round balls. That knife is to kill for. Thanks for sharing.
