Found this in my yard in NW Arkansas. I've scoured the web and have found medallions that are literally identical, but they are Byzantine lead coins. Not sure how it would have ended up in Arkansas unless a collector had it, and a meth head stole it lol Very heavy for its size and weight is 75.1 grams. Hole at top, and tiny hole in center. Also appears to have been struck in center with Malloy (notice depression in center. Thanks in advance and good weekend to all!View attachment 1501871View attachment 1501871View attachment 1501872View attachment 1501873

I personally don't think it's a 'medallion'. The center hole being square and the outer hole showing signs of something being tightened against it on both sides makes me believe it's a home made fix-it for a broken part to something

Thanks for the replies. It may in fact be something used for a repair, I'm not sure. But it is definitely lead. Extremely heavy for its size

looks like lead was poured in jar lid, then hole ponched in for fishing weight
