✅ SOLVED Lead button?

I found two of these, but only have pictures of the one, they appear to be lead buttons. I think I see like a triangle on it, but I am not sure. I found this on private property in East Texas in the woods.

The one above it the one I am asking about. I assume the other two are just buttons off of jeans or something.
If you have info on these brands, please do share!

I don't think they are lead buttons but instead I think they are lead roofing nail covers. Not sure of course, but that would be my guess. Tennessee digger

I never thought of that option, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, I will look up lead nail covers and see what I find. Thanks again!

You are welcome and like I said, I could be wrong but I've dug a lot of them and was always told that they were nail covers to keep from getting rust showing on a tin roof. Do a search on lead nail caps or covers. Tennessee digger
