I found this on what used to be an army base. It was about 7 inches deep. I was thinking it might have been used by the military to make their own bullets. The company name is stamped right on the top. It says Raymond Lead Company. Any info about the age or anything else is appreciated. It weighs about 5 pounds. Thanks for reading.

according to a 1915 era article -- the raymond lead company of chicago , ill was a specialty lead sash weight maker* that made lead alloy sash weights

note they also made anti radiaition and x ray blocking lead ***
