Hey guys and girls, I found this large bale seal today. And I am lost, it does look Russian on the backside I think I see Cyrillic letters. But I am not sure at all, it is 2.5 centimeter wide and 5 millimeter high, so it's a biggie. Any help would be appreciated. Sutpin it's a lead bale seal, I have found a bunch of them over the years, but normally they are not that big. Icewing thanks for the link but none of them look like mine, I have looked at peace havens project but there are too many to look through.

In another thread here (dont foind it anymore) I have read that most russian bale seals found abroad are from hemp and flax.

Russian hemp bale seal google search provides a lot of good pics for comparison
