LC's 1842 and 1843
Dug by my brother in-law, (DIGGINITRTB), last night. After an uneventful hunt with me, Rich said he was going to hit a spot on the main road leading from my town into his. I thought he was nuts hitting this spot because of all the traffic going by this spot, someone had to pick this spot clean. I guess I was WRONG!!!! His first 2 holes after being there about 5 mins. these two were a couple of feet apart. The 1842 is the large date variety and the 1843 is the "petite head" small letters variety. Being worn slightly on the front, they both cleaned up nicely and were well preserved. A couple of the finest we've ever dug. Congrats to Rich! Being a high traffic area where they are rebuilding a bridge off the main rd., I guess we'll have to hit it after working hrs. Gotta be more "goodies" here!
