What in the heck is this thing? I suspect it is probably just some old lawnmower part; but then again maybe not. Anyone want to take a guess

It looks like the bottom-half of a fuel pump for a 464 IH Tractor.

Thanks for the ID. I looked up that model tractor and it was made between 1973 and 1978. It is probably from my uncle's tractor or my grandfather's. I was hoping it was a tractor model from the 1920's or 1930's which means it would have been from my great-grandfather.
