Nice finds-do you have any info. on the eagle button? It looks CW era to my untrained eye..also, is that a carabiner or a strange shaped pocketknife??

Sorry Guys. I took a few days off from the computer.

Artemis, We checked the button at the SJMDC meeting the other night. It appears to be WW I Navy, according to a book on military buttons. Also, I don't know what a carabiner is, but the piece you questioned does have a knife function to it.

Kirk, I found two tokens that were good for the silver dollars, and yes, it was a planted hunt. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

skierbob..do u live n laughlin NV ??? makin a trip next weekend for 3 days..with my MXT LOL ..just wondering on some good productive gold areas that are open to public ?

thanx

Rocky, I live in Pennsylvania, but I go out to Laughlin every year for the AMDA hunts. A friend of mine is living out there with his wife in their motor home for six months. Last year we drove to one of the GPAA claims in Arizona, but we didn't find much. We didn't get around to it this year.

I see that you inquired at the Nevada Forum on the Clubs and Friends Forum. You should go to the Arizona Forum. There's a post from someone in Bullhead City, just across the river from Laughlin, looking for a partner. There's also information on the Colorado Treasure Seekers Club in Bullhead City. There's also a MD dealer down in Lake Havasu City who might give you some assistance. Her name is Sue Salee. Hope this helps you out. HH

I have a carabiner with a knife and it looks just like yours. Mine came from a Drug company one of the reps gave them out to the Doctor's office Male employees.

Nice coins, I don't care if they were from a planned hunt or not. Nice coins. and Cool button.

Cool finds Bob, as always....You dont let any grass grow under your feet ...Catch up with you soon..

Jim
