I just got these in the mail earlier this week but since the site was down I couldn't post them until now. These were sent to me by T-Net member artorius and I really appreciate him doing this for me. He sent me 2 Points from Pennsylvania and 1 from New Jersey so that's 2 more states I can mark off my list.
The first picture is all three points together.
In picture #2 there is one small Stemmed Point made from a black Chert or Flint. He classifies this point as Late Archaic-Early Woodland and it is from Collingwood, Camden county, New Jersey. It is 1 1/2 inches long by 5/8 inches wide.
In picture #3 is a larger Stemmed Point made from a sugary type of Quartz that is very nice. It still amazes me that they were able to get such fine looking points out of such rough material. This one is classified as Mid to Late Archaic and is from Manheim, Lancaster county PA. It is 2 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide.
And in the last picture is another Stemmed Point made of Rhyolite. He classifies this one as a Late to Terminal Archaic Broadpoint and it too is from Manheim, Lancaster county, PA. It is 2 1/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide.
All three are very nice and very much appreciated. Thank you artorius. I now have artifacts from 24 different states so I am almost halfway there in my quest to all 50.
