Today's Update on Civil War site

Hey all,

Some of you know that I had found a untouched Civil War site at Thanksgiving and found over 160 bullets in three days.

I am back this weekend in VA where the site is located and so far have found another 28 bullets one was a ring tail and an 1899 Indian Head Cent.

I have only hunted yesterday and 1 hour 1/2 today.

I will hunting a good part of tomorrow around an area where I believe the camp was located.

This is turning out to be another fantastic hunting weekend.

Found another 38 bullets........
It's crazy how many I am pulling out.

Update.....New Years Eve

Went out this morning for 3 hours to the site.
Wanted to really find the entire scope and range of the battle ground.
Area is bigger than I first thought.

Used my CTX 3030 to plot all the finds on the built in GPS. I have been doing that since the last hunt in Thanksgiving.

I love it because you overlay it on Google earth and really get to see where the action and lines were.

Main problem for me is finding where they camped.
Anyone know how far they would cameo from battles/skirmishes?

Ended up finding another 22 bullets to included a cleaner.

Still cleaning up yesterday's and today's finds. Will post a picture asap.

Tomorrow will be the last day.
