This is my first post of the yr. Been out several times with some success. I found a gold ring last week as well. I took my gold rings from last year and sold them yesterday. I got almost enough to pay for my new garage doors. The US medallion in the pic I found today with most of the stuff in the pics. Thought it may be from the civil war ; but not so sure now. It has a bar from the U to the S connecting the two. The back side has a place to wear the pin. The one token is from the opening of the Pennsylvania Super Highway in 1946. Ive seen a few of these on ebay .
The large medallion has reference to a good place to get doors and millwork done here in Cincinnati. Wish I could have found the rest. The bracelet says Carilisa? Another fake gold bar.The rings with the exception of the gold ones sold yesterday ; are my finds for the yr. The coin next to the US meddallion has the date of 1868 on it. It looked like a seated qtr at first; but isnt silver ; and has a woman's bust on the reverse instead of an eagle. Not sure where its from. Any help on identifying the coin; US medallion; and large token from door store would be greatly appreciated.
These were all found at local schools and parks in the Cincinnati area. Thanks for looking.
