Ok so this one just makes me want to cry for real.... Hubby found it while we were out arrowhead hunting in Limestone county TX. He is still crying over it and for good reason. We suppected it was a gorget but our long time friend and mentor confrimed it. It is made of red hematite and the craving is very clear. It is suppose to be a very rare find for TX so we are proud to add it to our collection even if it is broken. It came from a personal site no one else knows so maybe we will find the rest of it some day. Until then it will go into the case and we will just cry about it....lol. Just thought we would share.

Those are the heartbreakers for sure. Glad you recognised it as something and kept it. Looks to be a good spot to hunt when you find stuff like that. Thanks for sharing.

Don't cry too much, a piece of it is better than non at all. Maybe you will find the rest of it good luck.
