Late Night Therapy @ Job Sight.

Howdy Folks. I was bushed after work so I napped until about 7:00 p.m. I was ready to stay home but, decided I needed some therapy. I chose my job sight which has given up some Indians, Wheats, and old relic items. I dug plenty of aluminum trash and managed a really cool old token coin. Copper Clad Crank Club tokens were issued as advertising for a stove company from around 1901 to 1911. I got a nice old nickel plated brass buckle. Old glob of bent lead and a pair of broken harmonica reads. The old Wm. Rogers "German Silver" spoon was from another hunt but, had to cancel the photo shoot so I threw it in here. I ran my batteries down and headed home. A few hours of swinging and I am back in balance for a few more hours. Thanks for stopping by. Kurios1

Yes indeed. You'll notice my example doesn't have the manufacturer's mark beneath the clover on the obverse. Thanks for adding to the post.

Hey Roamer67. Updated. The spoon isn't actually silver as Wm. Rogers Company loved to use the term"Silver" on a lot of their plated offerings. I think this one is brass. At least it's not rusty iron.

Thanks. I try not to let my expectations get too lofty on a hunt lest I get disappointed with my meager finds. This one old token coin made for a wonderful evening at work off the clock watching the second shift folks drive away for their weekend. Yep, the symbols were before the PC police decided the swastika was tainted by Mr. Hitler.

I agree DL. I was quite pleased with the large old token last night even though my old eyes couldn't quite make out what it was. I was hoping a LC at first glance.

Hey C9. At first glance I was thinking Large Cent and was about to start dancing! Although I couldn't make it out in the darkness of night with my old eyes I knew it was pretty old and therefore cool. Happy with my short visit to the clinic.
