Late 1800's pocket knife
Hi all. New member here. I've only been detecting for a couple years and only a handful of times so I'm new to this world. Anyway, I found an old pocket knife at a site that was active in the late 1800's. I'm guessing that it had a wood handle as there was no evidence of anything remaining. It is pretty far gone, so although I brushed it up a little, I don't think there is any way of identifying a maker on the blade. I was just wondering if anyone out there might have any ideas? It has two blades and the one that is folded up looks to be broken as it appears flat tipped. Also, are old knives like this worth anything in this condition? Thanks much and I look forward to cruising this site a lot in the future!
