Last week's 10 boxes - Gonna lower it

Bank 1:
Box 1: Skunk
Box 2: Skunk

Bank 2
Box 3: Skunk
Box 4: 2 40%ers
Box 5: 1 90%er
Box 6: Skunk

Bank 3:
Box 7: Skunk
Box 8: Skunk
Box 9: Skunk
Box 10: Skunk

I was real lazy to go through boxes last week. No one looks forward to getting skunked. I knew it wasn't gonna be good. It could've been worse. I realize that this area is not good for CRHing anymore. I saw that this day was going come. Just didn't expect it to be so soon. It makes no sense for me to do higher volume at this point. This will put an end to my weekly post of finds. There's some big time CRHer in this area to likes to mark up a lot of coins too (The Red Striper). Lots of Red Stripes and I don't mean the beer either.

Yeah, I'll probably keep going but this area has been like this for a while. It's not just one or two weeks like this. I was fortunate that I got a nice Barber a couple weeks ago but the skunks really make it tough. Just gonna back to smaller volume. Dimes in my area have gotten bad too.

I ran into another CRHer last week. Are there really that many CRHers in my area?

Yeah, I'll probably keep going but this area has been like this for a while. It's not just one or two weeks like this. I was fortunate that I got a nice Barber a couple weeks ago but the skunks really make it tough. Just gonna back to smaller volume. Dimes in my area have gotten bad too.

I thought I was the only one in my town until I met TWO on the same day. One does volume like me, the other just buys a box at a time but does not order, just calls in a "reserves" a box. He has bought a few that I had ordered. There simply must be others too. I have seen the red stripe, the one who outlines the date, some painted red, purple X, and on and on.

I just wonder if some monster searcher is dumping where I pick up. The red striper. LOL I hardly see any keepers from one of the bank's boxes anymore. It used to be a different story a while back. I've been getting my own dumps back too which is something that didn't occur for a while. Must be a lot of searching going on for me to get a lot of my own dumps back.

Go for it guys, snipe away all you want. I used to be protective of CRHing in my area but I really don't care now that it's so bad.

I'm in SF myself. I know that there are quite a few around here. Unfortunately my averages look like what you have. When I get down on skunks I do cents and nickels. Those always have something fun in them. Found a Swiss 20 Rappen 1966 in a nickel box last night.

Are you in SF? North? South? East?

I'm in the Peninsula.
I do pennies too. I did a box of nickels once. It was a lot of work. I guess if the silver disappears here, might have to start doing nickels. LOL

Wonder if that guy is some super volume searcher if you get his coins down there. Didn't see that marking until the last 6 months. That's when it all went down hill. I even get my own dumps back all the time now. A whole lot of searching going on now. Everything just seems to get recycled up here. You're in a good area so keep it up. I'm going to tune it down a bit and only pick it up if I see a rebound. No sense in working that hard to get 70% skunks. Box snipers please pickup the boxes for me!! LOL No need to post my numbers now.. one can imagine what they'll be.
