I got out for about 4 1/2 hours on Saturday to my private virgin spot for the first time this season. It is still producing well. I got a 1926 Standing Liberty quarter, 2 silver Washington quarters (1948, 1950), 8 Mercury dimes (1919, 1920-D, 1935-D, 1940, 1941-D, 1943, 1944, 1944-S), 5 silver Roosevelt dimes (1946 x 3, 1952, 1953-D), a 1919 Buffalo nickel, and 54 Wheat cents, along with a few newer coins.

Since the beginning of October, 2006, this place has produced 1 Franklin half, 10 silver quarters, 55 silver dimes, 5 silver War nickels, 6 Buffalo nickels, and a huge pile of Wheat cents. So far, everything has been from on top of the ground to 6" deep. I've even found silver dimes right on top of the ground.

On Sunday, I went to a local park (supposedly hunted out) and got 2 Mercury dimes (1942 and 1945), a silver Roosevelt dime (1954), and 25 Wheat cents. I also managed to pull out 2 sterling silver rings. Everything here was at least 6" deep and the silver dimes were in holes with trash, so they didn't give good signals.

Woweeee!

There are still a few places like that around, and it's nice to hear that you are making out so well.

You are showing all of us that it is still out there to find.

Keep it up!...........HH

wow, sounds like the kinda site I'm dreamin' of........give that iceberg some good ol' competition.

Sorry, I'm not going to send a map of the location. I am the only one with permission to hunt there, but I know other people that would sneak in and ruin it for all. It has taken me two years to get that permission. As far as the machine that I use, it's a Minelab Explorer (the original) and I love it!

Great, Great finds. With all the loot your finding, maybe you can post some pictures. Be great to see all that silver and other coins. Maybe take some pictures of you digging a coin out of a hole, that always makes for a nice picture.

Again, neat finds, Ringfinder
