saturday morning me and my friend went hunting
below is mt portion of the finds
he found some similar things along with 3 rim shards
first image has a couple good points, a copper bangle for a jingle dress, bead
second image has an elk horn awl and a bone awl like neo is making now
thirdly is a pressure flaking tool made from a split rib, these were also used for quill fattening and pottery making
last is a flesher made from some type of horn
i wish i would had my camera with to get a shot of john's finds and also some insitus
but i forgot

Another great hunt. Like the small point, upper right best. Those points sure are the prettiest. Cool bone tools too.

i like the one on the upper right the best also
the KRF point on the right has tip damage but I like it also as it is a jaw notched piece
every time i get lucky enuff to find a jaw notcher i have noted that the makers of these must have been very
skilled and used the best material as they are almost always nice

do you agree the two pieces in the center of the image posted on the 'some pretty points' seem to illustrate this thought ?
does anyone out there know of any other types found anywhere that are like that ?
